Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Arusha to Machame Gate, where you will meet your mountain crew, complete registration, and receive a briefing. Begin trekking through Kilimanjaro’s lush rainforest, surrounded by rich vegetation and birdlife. Watch for colobus monkeys along the trail before arriving at Machame Camp, where your team will prepare your tents and meals for your first night on the mountain.

Today is an important acclimatization day as you trek across the Shira Plateau toward Lava Tower, a dramatic volcanic formation at high altitude. Enjoy lunch in the rugged alpine desert before descending into the Barranco Valley, following the “climb high, sleep low” approach to improve acclimatization. Arrive at Barranco Camp, one of Kilimanjaro’s most scenic camps, surrounded by towering cliffs and stunning sunset views.

Today’s trek takes you into Kilimanjaro’s dramatic alpine desert, where the landscape becomes rugged, rocky, and increasingly remote. As you climb higher, enjoy breathtaking views and feel the excitement build toward the summit attempt. Arrive at Barafu Camp, your final base before the midnight climb to Uhuru Peak. After an early dinner, rest and prepare mentally and physically for the most challenging and rewarding stage of your journey.

After breakfast, you descend through the lush rainforest for the final time, returning to Mweka Gate where you receive your official summit certificate. This marks the completion of your Kilimanjaro expedition — a life-changing achievement. From here, you are transferred back to Arusha for a short rest before boarding your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival on the island, you are welcomed and transferred to your luxury beachfront resort, where a completely new chapter of relaxation begins.

Today, explore the rich heritage of Zanzibar with a guided Stone Town tour through its vibrant markets, historic landmarks, and centuries-old architecture shaped by diverse cultural influences. Later, visit a traditional spice plantation and discover why Zanzibar is known as “The Spice Island.” Learn about cloves, vanilla, cinnamon, and tropical fruits while experiencing the island’s unique flavors, traditions, and history.

Today is dedicated to pure ocean luxury. You begin with a relaxed morning on the beach before setting sail on a traditional wooden dhow cruise across the Indian Ocean. As you glide over turquoise waters, you experience Zanzibar from a completely different perspective. The afternoon is free for snorkeling, swimming, or simply enjoying the soft sands of Nungwi beach. As evening approaches, the sky transforms into golden and pink hues, creating one of the most romantic sunsets in Africa.
