After breakfast, transfer from Moshi to Machame Gate for registration. Meet your experienced mountain crew before beginning your trek through the beautiful rainforest filled with giant trees, birds, monkeys, and unique vegetation. Arrive at Machame Camp for dinner and overnight.

Machame Camp to Shira Camp
Leave the rainforest behind as you ascend into the heath and moorland zone. Enjoy panoramic views of Mount Meru and the vast Shira Plateau before arriving at Shira Camp for overnight camping.

Spend an additional day exploring the Shira Plateau with a guided acclimatization hike before returning to camp. This extra day helps your body adjust to the altitude, reduces the risk of altitude sickness, and greatly improves your chances of reaching Uhuru Peak successfully.
