Transfer to Kibale National Park

Enjoy an early breakfast after which you will be met by your guide who will transfer you from Kampala to Kibale Forest via Fort portal and having great views; you will have lunch en-route. When you arrive at the park, continue and go for a visit to the beautiful crater lakes area, you will also get a chance to see the terraced tea estates.

Early morning trek for chimpanzees. Kibale is the best reserve in Africa to view chimps, a thick jungle with a towering canopy. You will take a nature walk in the afternoon to Bigodi village for cultural experiences.

Bwindi Impenetrable
After breakfast, drive to Bwindi via the landscape of tea plantations, probably East Africa’s most spectacular scenery, and the highland rain forests which reach the volcanoes in which live the mountain gorillas. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, you will do cultural experiences in the afternoon. (Approximately 5-6 hours’ drive).

Begin the day with breakfast ready for gorilla trekking, which begins at 7:30 a.m. with a briefing. Ensure to carry along with you a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots, etc. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth.

Return To Kampala
Return to Kampala in the morning, lunch break is made at Agip Motel Mbarara with stop over at Equator Uganda crossing and Mpambire drum makers for a brief photo opportunity and to shop souvenirs. Transfer to Entebbe for the evening flight back home (Approximately 8-9 hours’ drive).
