Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our safari representative and transferred to your luxury hotel in Nairobi. Depending on your arrival time, optional excursions such as the Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum, or Nairobi National Park can be arranged. Enjoy a relaxing evening before your safari adventure begins.

After breakfast, depart for Samburu National Reserve by road or optional domestic flight. Arrive in time for lunch at your luxury lodge or tented camp overlooking the reserve. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in this spectacular semi-arid wilderness known for rare wildlife species including Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx.
