Fly to Tarangire National Park
Tarangire
After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for a scenic flight to Kuro Airstrip in Tarangire. Upon arrival, enjoy a hot lunch at the lodge and settle in. Afternoon: Begin your first game drive in Tarangire National Park which will take around three hours, home to massive elephant herds and ancient baobabs. Capture the golden light over the savannah. Morning and afternoon game drives exploring Tarangire’s riverine forests which will be around seven hours, rolling plains, and abundant wildlife. After breakfast, depart Tarangire by road along a tarmac route toward the Ngorongoro Highlands which will take around two hours and thirty minutes. Enjoy scenic vistas as the landscape transitions from savannah to lush highlands. Afternoon: Check into the lodge near the crater rim for a relaxed evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
