Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater is a hidden world enclosed by steep volcanic walls, featuring savannah, woodland, lakes, and swamps. Formed 2–3 million years ago after a volcano collapsed, it holds one of Africa’s highest concentrations of wildlife. The descent is scenic, and on the crater floor you may see wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, over 500 bird species, and the rare black rhino. After your game drive, you proceed to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
