Nairobi to Masai Mara

Masai Mara

Pick up from your hotel or airport in Nairobi and drive to Maasai Mara via the scenic Great Rift Valley with a short stop for photos. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in the Maasai Mara Reserve in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Spend a full day exploring the vast Maasai Mara ecosystem with morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day picnic game drive. The reserve offers excellent chances of spotting the Big Five and a wide variety of wildlife. During migration season (July–October), witness millions of wildebeest crossing the plains. Optional: Hot air balloon safari at sunrise (extra cost). All meals and overnight at the lodge.
