Arusha to Mti Mkubwa Camp -Lemosho

Early morning departure from Arusha to Londorossi Gate for registration and briefing, then continue to Lemosho trailhead. Begin trekking through lush rainforest, home to colobus monkeys and rich birdlife. The trail is scenic and steady as you make your way to Mti Mkubwa Camp.

Take time to celebrate your achievement and enjoy breathtaking views from the “Roof of Africa.” After a short rest, begin your long descent back to Barafu for a brief break, then continue down to Mweka Camp. The descent is challenging but rewarding as you pass through changing landscapes.

Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate – Return t
After breakfast at Mweka Camp, begin your final descent through the rainforest of Mountain. The trail is scenic and refreshing, with rich vegetation, birdsong, and occasional wildlife sightings as you make your way down to Mweka Gate. At the gate, you will receive your official summit certificate, marking your successful climb. After celebrations and farewells with your mountain crew, transfer back to Arusha for rest or onward travel, bringing your unforgettable Kilimanjaro adventure.
