Bwindi Impenetrable
Early morning transfer to Mabamba Swamp on the shores of Lake Victoria for a canoe birding excursion. Mabamba is famous for the Shoebill and other wetland species such as Papyrus Gonolek, Malachite Kingfisher, African Jacana, and Blue Swallow. After the excursion, begin your scenic drive southwest to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through rolling hills and terraced landscapes. Arrive in the evening and check in at your lodge.
Bwindi Forest Birding
Bwindi Impenetrable
Full-day guided forest birding in Bwindi. This ancient rainforest is one of Africa’s most important birding areas. Gorilla Trekking Experience

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before beginning your mountain gorilla trekking adventure. The trek can take between 2–6 hours depending on the gorillas’ location. Once located, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat.
