Itinerary

Day 1: Tarangire National Park

Tarangire

After an early breakfast, your driver-guide will meet at your Arusha-area accommodations for a quick briefing. Then drive to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. Tarangire is famous for the beautiful Tarangire River, which gives water to animals year-round, and for the large herds of elephants that make their home here. There are also massive baobab trees and predators such as lions and cheetahs may be spotted in the area, as well. Lunch and Dinner and overnight included.

Marera Valley

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You’ll likely see animals as soon as you pass through the gate; babboons, monkeys and zebras are commonly sighted. Then, begin descent into the Crater and spend the morning driving along the Crater floor. Ngorongoro Crater is famous for it’s unique ecosystem, and boasts one of the most diverse and dense array of animals found anywhere on earth. In the early evening, begin ascending out of the crater for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Visit Lake Eyasi, to Arusha

In the morning, drive to Lake Eyasi for a full day of cultural experiences. The Hadzabe Tribe, who live along the edge of Lake Eyasi are one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes left on earth. You may learn how they find wild honey, make shelters, or pass on their timeless traditions, without any modern technology or even use of money. If your departure flight is not in the evening/night, please let us know. We would be happy to help arrange accommodations and transport to the airport.
