On arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be welcomed by your safari guide from Mandela Safari Holidays and transfer you to your Hotel in Kampala or Entebbe.

Transfer to Jinja
Wake up for breakfast and then start the journey to Jinja. Jinja is the adventure capital of East Africa and this you will see for your self.Having had lunch, you will have a boat trip to visit the source of the Nile River. This is the point where the Nile waters begin their 90-day journey to the Mediterranean Sea. You later check in your accommodation for the night.

Travel to Kibale Forest, the primate capital of the world. The forest is home to 13 primate species including the chimpanzee, blue monkeys, nocturnal portal, bush babies, and so on. It is also home to several species of butterflies. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and relax.

Wake up early for breakfast and then travel to Kyanyanchu Park headquarters where you will be briefed about the dos and don'ts of chimpanzee tracking. You then enter the tropical rainforest as you search for man's closest relatives, the chimpanzee. Having encountered them, enjoy a full hour observing their behavior. From there you will check out of your hotel and embark on your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park.The journey overlooks the Rwenzori mountains.

Game drive and Boat Trip
We wake up for early breakfast and embark on a morning game drive to search for the early risers. Expect to see elephants, lions, kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, leopards, hyenas and so on. The game drive lasts for 3 to 4 hrs and ends at the shores of Bunyampaka Salt Lake.We then return to the lodge for a lunch break and go for an afternoon boat safari on the Kazinga channel.

Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha
You'll have breakfast at leisure then check out of the lodge before heading to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Uganda’s mountain gorillas’ capital) through the spectacular savannah grasslands of Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will pass through the Ishasha sector to see the tree-climbing lions as well as the buffaloes, elephants, and Uganda kobs. Then proceed to Bwindi after having an en-route lunch meal.

On this day, you wake up very early, move to the park headquarters for paperwork and then get briefed about gorilla trekking before entering the Impenetrable Forest. Be ready to walk for one to six hours depending on where you will find the gorillas. Having encountered them, you will enjoy a full hour in their presence. The one hour you spend with the gorillas is unforgettable. The mountain Gorilla is the most powerful and muscular primate on earth.

After a morning breakfast, you will embark on your journey to Kinigi which is nestled at the foothills of the Sabyinyo Volcano in Rwanda. This journey blends scenic beauty and cultural insight.The journey takes 2 to 3 hours and on arrival you will check into your hotel for lunch and relaxation.

Golden Monkey Trekking
Wake up early for breakfast and then travel to volcanoes National Park .Arrive in time for briefing and then enter the forest to search for the rare golden monkeys. The trek will take anywhere from 45 minutes to 6 hours depending on where the monkeys will be on this day. Enjoy a full hour with the goldens and travel back to your lodge to relax.
