Safari summary

This 6-day Moshi-based itinerary offers a rich and varied experience, combining cultural encounters, scenic landscapes, and wildlife sightings, perfect for those who want an immersive Tanzanian experience without climbing Mount Kilimanjaro or going on a full-length safari. After a smooth arrival in Moshi, you’ll begin with a hike to Materuni Waterfall and take part in a traditional Chagga coffee-making experience. The next day invites you to unwind in the natural Kikuletwa Hot Springs, followed by a visit to a Maasai village for an in-depth cultural exchange.
Day 4 features you’ll have a full-day game drive in Arusha National Park, where you’ll have the chance to see giraffes, flamingos, buffaloes, and with a bit of luck, the exclusive serval wildlife, a beautiful spotted wild cat often seen in the grasslands. The journey continues with a nature walk through Rau Forest and a Moshi town tour, before ending in Marangu, where you’ll explore Chagga caves, waterfalls, and the history of Kilimanjaro’s early climbers. Each day you will be guided, full of discovery, and balanced with rest and comfort.
