Morning to Noon: Depart from your lodge or hotel for Serengeti National Park. Continue toward the central Serengeti then later have lunch at noon. Afternoon to Evening: Explore the Seronera Valley, rich in wildlife due to its year-round water supply. Likely wildlife sightings: lions, elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, hippos, and possibly leopards or cheetahs. Later arrive at your lodge or tented camp in the Serengeti Finally Dinner and overnight in the park under the stars.

The crater is a unique, self-contained ecosystem with spectacular scenery. Later in the day: lunch at a scenic spot often near the hippo pool. Finally: Begin ascent from the crater and drive back toward your drop-off point.
