Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut 2,700m

After breakfast, drive to Marangu Gate and begin the trek through lush montane rainforest. The trail is gentle and scenic, with opportunities to spot monkeys, birds, and unique vegetation. Trek from Horombo Hut through barren alpine desert toward Kibo Hut, your last camp before the summit.
