On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be welcomed by your safari guide from Mandela Safari Holidays who will transfer you to your hotel to relax from flight lag. He will also brief you about your whole tour.

Lake Manyara National Park

Wakeup early for breakfast and travel to Lake Manyara National park. You are to have an extended game drive in this park leading you to Lake Manyara where you will have your packed lunch at a designated picnic site. Lake Manyara is home to the rare tree climbing lions and they tend to climb fig trees to escape the mid-day sun. Other animals to see include hippos, elephants, zebras, giraffes, and so on. The salty Lake Manyara hosts large flocks of flamingos, pelicans, white stalks, and so on.

Travel to Serengeti NP

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park. En-route, you have an option to visit the Olduvai Gorge where the skulls of early man were discovered by Dr. Leaky and his wife. Have a game drive enroute to your camp and lookout for lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffalos, and so on.. A trip to Serengeti is very rewarding even if it is not the season of the migration. Seronera is the heart of the Serengeti is where most of the game is concentrated.

Fullday Game Drive

Start the morning with breakfast followed by the game drive in Seronera. The Seronera is the heart of the Serengeti and the wildlife is present no matter which season of the year. Animals to see include; lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes and so on. The bird life is also excellent. You will return to your hotel for a hot lunch or picnic and later embark on an evening game drive giving you chance to see more of wildlife.

Ngorongoro Crater Drive

This day you drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, biosphere reserve. Here humans live in harmony with animals. The Ngorongoro crater is the world’s largest intact volcano. Its volcanic walls form one of the richest and most fertile grazing grounds in the world. You descend into the crater with your packed lunch to have a game drive. Animals to se include, elephants, elands, hyenas, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles and so on. You will return to your Hotel in the evening.

Angata Ngorongoro Camp

Mto Wambu Village

Have breakfast at leisure and then have a tour in the Mto wambu village of the Masai. Get to visit the famous mosquito River, taste the different banana species and enjoy a locally prepared meal. You then drive back to your lodge in the early afternoon to relax.
