Itinerary
Transfer From Entebbe To Kibale
After breakfast, drive 5–6 hours to Kibale National Park, passing scenic villages, forests, and tea plantations. Stop for lunch in Fort Portal, then visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided walk to see birds like the Great Blue Turaco and primates such as red colobus and L’Hoest’s monkeys. After the walk, check into your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Kibale Forest Camp
Transfer to Semuliki National Park
After an early breakfast, head to Kanyanchu Visitor Center for a chimpanzee trekking briefing in Kibale National Park, home to 13 primate species. Trekking lasts 2–4 hours, with one hour spent observing chimpanzees. Return to the lodge for lunch and rest, then drive 1.5 hours through the Albertine Rift Valley to Semuliki National Park. On arrival, check in to your lodge and relax.

Visiting Sempaya Hot Springs
After breakfast, take a boat ride along the Semuliki River to spot the rare Shoebill, known for its massive shoe-shaped bill. Next, visit Sempaya Hot Springs, featuring the "Male" geyser and the "Female" boiling pool where you can cook eggs and bananas. Learn about local stories and culture from your guide. Afterward, head back to Entebbe, stopping in Fort Portal for lunch before arriving by late afternoon.
