Itinerary

Transfer To Kibale NP

After an early breakfast and safari briefing, depart for Kibale National Park, a 5–6 hour drive through scenic countryside, tea plantations, and villages. Stop for lunch in Fort Portal, then continue to the park. Upon arrival, check in at the lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided nature walk at Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, known for primates, birds, and conservation efforts. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Kibale Forest Camp

Chimpanzee Trekking

After an early breakfast, head to Kibale Park for a chimpanzee trekking adventure. Spend 2–4 hours tracking and 1 hour observing chimps in their natural habitat. Spot other primates like red colobus and L’Hoest’s monkeys. Return to the lodge for lunch and rest, then drive 3–4 hours to Queen Elizabeth National Park via scenic Rwenzori foothills. Check in, relax, enjoy dinner, and overnight at the lodge.

Game Drive & Boat Cruise

Wake up early for a game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, ideal for spotting lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, hyenas, and leopards. Enjoy the sunrise and guided wildlife tracking. After lunch, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel for close-up views of hippos, crocodiles, and birds like fish eagles and kingfishers. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Ishasha Sector & Return To Kampala

Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge before heading to Ishasha in Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for rare tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a final game drive to spot these lions, elephants, and topis. Afterward, depart for Kampala/Entebbe, stopping in Mbarara for lunch and at the Uganda Equator for photos and souvenirs. Arrive in Kampala/Entebbe late afternoon or evening, marking the end of your safari.
