Itinerary

Arrival in Arusha – Welcome

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be met by our guide and transferred to your Hotel in Arusha. This vibrant town is the safari capital of northern Tanzania, nestled at the base of Mount Meru. After check-in, take time to relax after your journey perhaps enjoy a garden walk at the lodge or a local cultural visit, depending on your arrival time. In the evening, your guide will give a short briefing on the safari ahead.

Arusha to Mkomazi National Park

After an early breakfast, drive to Mkomazi , one of Tanzania’s lesser-known but most rewarding wildlife destinations. Located near the Kenyan border, Mkomazi offers a dry, dramatic landscape dotted with acacia trees, granite hills, and wide-open savannahs. You’ll enjoy a game drive upon arrival, with a chance to spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, and perhaps even endangered black rhinos in the special sanctuary area. The park is also rich in birdlife, with over 450 recorded species.
