Day 1: Zanzibar – Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Your safari begins with a morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport, where your guide awaits to whisk you away to Tarangire National Park. Known for its striking baobab trees and large elephant populations, Tarangire is one of Tanzania’s best-kept safari secrets.

After arriving at the park, enjoy a full-day game drive through acacia woodlands and grassy savannas. During the dry season, animals flock to the Tarangire River—the park’s only permanent water source—creating incredible viewing opportunities. Spot herds of elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and predators like lions and leopards. Tarangire is also a birdwatcher's paradise with over 500 species.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The drive takes you through the Great Rift Valley, past rural villages, and into the endless plains of the Serengeti. If you prefer, a short flight can also be arranged.
The Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is famed for its rich wildlife and the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles traverse the plains in search of greener pastures. Regardless of the season, the Serengeti delivers exceptional game viewing.

Upon arrival, enjoy your first game drive across sweeping grasslands and rocky outcrops. Watch lions lounging in the sun, cheetahs scanning the horizon, elephants moving in herds, and perhaps leopards resting in trees. A picnic lunch is served en route or at the lodge, depending on your arrival time.

Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha – Zanzibar
After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full morning of game viewing in one of the most unique safari environments on Earth. The crater floor is teeming with wildlife and offers one of the best chances to see the Big Five in a single day.
Ngorongoro is home to lions, elephants, buffalo, rare black rhinos, and abundant birdlife. Spot flamingos on the soda lakes, hippos in the wetlands, and hyenas roaming the plains. Your guide will provide insights into the region's geology, ecology, and history.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the crater, then begin your ascent back to the crater rim. From there, return to Arusha in time for your afternoon flight back to Zanzibar, arriving with unforgettable memories and plenty of safari stories to tell.
