Itinerary

Arrival and Transfer to the Hotel

This day upon arrival to Rwanda, you will meet our safari representative at Kigali International airport who will welcome you and thereafter transfer you to Hotel Chezlando for an overnight stay on Bed and Breakfast basis. You will have a short briefing on how the entire safari process will be conducted.

Transfer to Bwindi

Bwindi Impenetrable

After breakfast in the hotel, your safari guide will be readily waiting to transfer you for the Kigali city tour where you will visit the Genocide memorial sites, the local craft markets as well as the local markets. You will thereafter set off for Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable national park, a home to more than half of the total population of the rare mountain gorillas.

This day, you will depart from the lodge after breakfast with your packed lunch, ready to encounter the rare mountain Gorillas. Your safari guide will transfer you to the briefing area for orientation and to meet the ranger guides who will thereafter lead you into the forests for Gorillas. The trek that takes you through the Gorilla paths is complemented with the beautiful views, several animals and bird species that may also be encountered.

Transfer to Kigali

You will have a lazy morning at the lodge as you relax from the previous activity (Gorilla tracking experience). You will thereafter prepare for a transfer back to Kigali to catch-up with your outbound flight.
