Tarangire

You will be picked up by your private safari guide from your accommodation in Arusha to Tarangire which is almost 2.5 hours drive from Arusha. Tarangire is best known for its elephant families, savannah, iconic baobab trees, seasonal swamps and the life-giving Tarangire River. Animals gather at the river and giraffe, bushbuck and hartebeest are often seen. The Park is also home to buffalo, zebra and wildebeest.

After breakfast at your accommodation you will head out for another game drive in the Serengeti before having an en-route game drive to Natron via Klein’s gate. Wild and remote Lake Natron lies in the northeast of Tanzania in between the Ngorongoro Highlands and Serengeti plains. Here it is the landscape rather than the animals that is the attraction – the area around the lake inhabited by Maasai is dry, desolate and hauntingly beautiful. You will arrive at your accommodation in time for dinner

Lake Manyara

Early morning after breakfast, we depart to we depart to Lake Manyara National Park which is an unspoilt paradise and is best known for its abundance of birds and tree-climbing lions. The dramatic western escarpment of the Rift Valley forms the Park’s western border. To the east is the shallow, alkaline Lake Manyara. The lake covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and is home to thousands of flamingos during the rains.
