Day 1 begins with a pickup from Kigali International Airport or your hotel, followed by a scenic drive through Rwanda’s hills toward Uganda. You'll cross the border at Katuna or Chanika, with a stop at Kabale or Kisoro. After a 4-5 hour drive, you'll arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Check in at either Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge or Mahogany Springs for an overnight stay, with lunch and dinner included.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

On Day 2, have an early breakfast and head to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. The trek, lasting 1-7 hours, includes an hour with the gorillas for observation and photos (no flash). Return to the lodge for lunch, followed by optional activities like a nature walk or visiting local communities. Stay overnight at Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge or Mahogany Springs, with all meals included.

After breakfast, you may opt for a second gorilla trek or visit the local Abatwa community to learn about their unique culture and traditions. Following the morning activities, you'll depart Bwindi and drive back to Kigali, enjoying scenic views along the way. Ensure your flight is scheduled for later in the day to allow time for the journey. Breakfast is included before your departure.
