Day 2 On arrival in Cape Town you will be met by our representative who will hand over your travel documents, including the personalised Travel Digest that we will prepare for you, and transfer you to your hotel. The Travel Digest will give you detailed driving directions for every leg of your journey along the Garden Route. Located in the heart of Cape Town’s vibrant Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, offering an unrivalled view of both Table Mountain and the Marina, the hotel Cape Grace has the most enviable location in the city. The Cape Grace’s 121 en-suite rooms and spacious suites are stylish yet subtle, with soft neutral colours and luxurious fabrics. French doors open to views over Table Mountain, the harbour or the yacht marina. Day 7 Your Avis Group B (VW Polo Hatch or similar) hire car will be delivered at 09h00 to the hotel and using your travel digest, you will depart from central Cape Town to the Cape Winelands about an hours drive away. Enjoy the scenery as you travel through the mountains to the village of Franschhoek, South Africa’s gourmet food and wine capital. Your accommodation is at La Petite Ferme, a working wine estate with magnificent views across the Franschhoek Valley. Set within an intimate, interlacing labyrinth of garden pathways are five secluded luxury guest suites, each with a personal plunge pool. Stunning interior decoration and full amenities ensure exclusive comfort with romantic charm. Fly fishing, wine tasting, golf, cycling and horse riding can be enjoyed within close proximity. Day 12 A final morning’s game drive before you are transferred back to Nelspruit airport for your direct flight to Vilanculos. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Marlin Lodge. Marlin Lodge is situated on the south western shore of Benguerua Island, 14km from the Mozambican mainland town of Vilanculos. The lodge is constructed of Mozambican hardwood, reed-clad walls and thatched ‘jecca’ roofs, in harmony with the pristine natural surroundings. Furnishings are in colours that reflect the lush green island foliage and the bright blues of the ocean. Meals are served under cover, around the main pool area, or at the sumptuous beach barbecues.
