Nairobi - Masai Mara

You will leave Nairobi for Masai Mara in the morning through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a stopover at the viewpoint. Masai mara holds one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. The Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of wildebeest, Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive.

A full day is spent in Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. This game will be in search for great predators and perhaps even cubs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and Leopard hiding amidst Acacia boughs.

After breakfast, you will depart to Lake Naivasha where we will arrive in time for lunch at our accommodation. We take an optional boat ride. Alternatively, a nature walk at Crescent Island is an excellent way to see wild animals while on foot. The Island is a private game sanctuary, which is home to Zebras, Wildebeests, Gazelles, Vervet Monkeys, Hares, Genet Cats, Waterbucks and Giraffes.

Depart in the morning after breakfast passing through the scenic Athi Plains and into the bush country of Amboseli National Park, home to the legendary Maasai community and famous for huge herds of Elephants. Lunch on arrival followed by evening game drive. In addition to Antelopes, Zebras, Wildebeests, Buffaloes and the rare and elusive Leopard, nearly every vista within the park is framed by the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.
