Day 5
Day 5:After a rather early breakfast, morning games drive. Afternoon, we’ll have a boat cruise to the bottom of the Falls. The Falls are rare and magnificent, they are one of Africa’s wonders and a must see for everyone. We of course cannot fail to mention that it’s from these falls that Murchison derives its name. Catch up with pods of Hippos, crocodiles and a vast number of water birds. There are high chances of seeing the Shoebill stock from which our company derives its name. Enjoy these spectacular falls with a hike to the top of the Falls where the Nile squeezes through a 7-meter gap and at the bottom bask Huge Nile Crocodiles. Day 6
Kibale
Day 6: After breakfast we begin our journey to Kibale Forest National Park for yet another exiting adventure. On the way you visit a tea plantation. Accommodation: Chimpanzee Guesthouse (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 7
Kibale
Day 7: After breakfast, chimp tracking (optional 150 U$ p.P.) and meet the rather real cousins of humans’ beings. There is a rich bird life in this forest. If you are a keen birder you will record a reasonably high number of different bird species. Notable are various monkeys that keep tossing from one tree to another as you walk along. Lunch at the lodge.At afternoon we have a Swamp Tour. The Bigodi swamps are home to about 137 species of birds, and they are rich in lush vegetation such as wild palms, figs and the dominant Polita Papyrus. Day 8
Day 8: After breakfast you will drive today to the world-famous Queen Elizabeth National Park, crossing the equator along the way. In the afternoon, you have a game drive and visit Lake Katwe a salt lake. Accommodation: Parkview Safari Lodge (Breakfast, Dinner); www.parkviewsafarilodge.com
Day 9
Day 9: After a early cup of tea or coffee morning game drive with Lion Tracking to the vast park for any chances of the early hunting cats, herds of elephants, antelopes, buffalos and many more. Return to the camp for a full breakfast, free time, after lunch go for the launch cruise on the famous Kazinga channel where you get to the schools of Hippos, buffalos and a variety of beautiful water bird species like jacanas, fish eagles and pelicans along the channel. Day 10
Bwindi Impenetrable
Day 10: Depart for Bwindi National park in the Morning on your way; you will have a chance to have a game drive in Ishasha Wilderness where the Tree Climbing Lions are found, then continue to the home of the Mountain Gorillas, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Have Lunch on your Way. Of Uganda’s Forested Parks, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is best known for superb gorilla tracking, but it also provides refuge to elephants, chimpanzees, monkeys and various small antelopes, as well as 23 bird species restricted to the Albertine. Day 11
Bwindi Impenetrable
Day 11: After breakfast, briefing, gorilla tracking (+600 U$ p.P) and if time allows, evening community walk and entertainment around the fire place by the locals. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is the home to the forest giants that are cousins to human beings, the gorillas. Day 12
Day 12: After breakfast proceed to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is the deepest Lake and a perfect place for relaxation. If you are looking for a rather private, lonely and romantic place, then Lake Bunyonyi Is the number one stop in Uganda. Optional canoe trip around the Lake or visit Batwa people. Day 14
Lake Mburo
Day 14:After breakfast begin our journey to Lake Mburo National Park. Lake Mburo boosts of a variety of game including zebra, eland, and impala, which are not found in most other National Parks in Uganda. Additionally, Lake Mburo has big numbers of waterbuck, topi, buffalo, hippo, duiker, bushbuck, klipspringer and on a good lucky day you will see oribi, reedbuck, leopard and crocodiles. Day 15
Day 15: You will wake up early and go for a nature walk. You will return to your accommodation for a hearty breakfast, have a have a boat ride on the lake and in the afternoon have a cultural visit with the herdsmen who live in the park. Day 16
Day 16: After an early cup of tea, you will start your journey back to Entebbe. Enjoy the green along the route plus the famous Ankole long horned cattle.
