Blou Bank Tented Safaris is situated in the 15,000 ha Blue Canyon Conservancy commanding spectacular views of the Drankensberg Mountains. The reserve is home to Big Game, including Lion, Leopard, Rhino and Elephant as well as a variety of antelope, giraffe, zebra etc.
Only 35 km from Hoedspruit/Eastgate Airport with daily flights from Johannesburg and Cape Town makes it easily accessible. Self drive is also possible as Blou Bank Tented Safaris is 5 hours drive from Johannesburg.
On arrival at Blou Bank Tented Safaris you will be warmly welcome by our attentive staff who will be your hosts for the duration of your stay. The tented safari camp lends itself to the perfect setting of a bygone era when well-known explorer David Livingstone and his loyal assistants/travelling companions Chuma and Susi travelled to Africa and stayed in tents during their discoveries. Times have changed; but we found a way to capture the essence of staying in the bush with our spacious and comfortable 5 en-suite safari tents, offering modern conveniences like electricity, flush toilets, showers and two single beds with percale linen not forgetting the absolute beauty of being out in the wild.
