I took an individual 13-day tour through Kenya and Tanzania. I had a different guide in each country in a 'pop-up' vehicle that allowed for great 360 degrees viewing of animals and wind-in-your-face experience.

I was more than impressed with the wealth of knowledge these guides had of the animal behaviors and patterns of movement. The animals' behaviors are not as random as one might think and the guides' knowledge was instrumental in tracking the animals locations for viewing.

Every night's lodging was in a different and memorable location, but I especially loved the exotic tented camping and in the future will request all tented camps. They allowed for that "Out of Africa" romantic experience and sometimes more intimate animal night-time viewing at waterholes.

My guides were always professional, on time for safari views, had a clean and ready vehicle with pop-up ready to go and bottled water available.

This was the desired African experience I have dreamed about for a lifetime. I made friends of everyone at this small, intimate tour operator and they demonstrated absolute willingness to tailor-make this safari to my tastes and needs. Their prices were excellent and were negotiated further for an all up-front cash tour.

Zoar Tours and African Safaris will be my first choice of operators for future African tours.
