We just experienced the most magical family safari holiday with Kilipeak Adventure. Our guide, Gilliard, was THE BEST!!! We travelled with our 10-year-old and 8-year-old as well as our mom. We saw a wildebeest birth, a cheetah chase and catch its prey, every animal on our list. Stayed at incredible lodges. Learned about the land, animals, maasai. We to visit and orphanage. So many laughs and memories that were made extra special because of this company and more so because of Gilliard. We recommend you book your safari through Kilipeak Adventure for a trip of a lifetime.

I would highly recommend booking your Kilimanjaro climb or safari through Kilipeak Adventure. They did an incredible job organizing our two week trip for us. We started our trip with the trek up Mount Kilimanjaro. Everything was executed seamlessly, from the pickup at the airport, to the gear rentals, to the hike itself. My brother and I had a team of 12 amazing guides/porters assist us throughout the 7 day climb. We were able to successfully summit Mount Kilimanjaro on February. We definitely would not have been able to do it without the dedication and care the team provided us. Our head guide, Florence, and assistant guide, Jonas, consistently checked in on us multiple times a day to make sure we were comfortable, eating enough, and drinking enough water. It’s also worth noting that Kilipeak Adventure is a member of Kilimanjaro Porters Assistance Project, which was one of the main reasons why we chose to climb with them as we wanted to ensure that the company we chose treated the porters fairly. Additionally, I want to give a shootout to Florence for taking pictures of us on the summit. We were too exhausted to take pictures on our cameras, but Florence and a porter did it for us. We’re thankful to have many great pictures from the summit. After the climb, we did a 5 day, 4 night safari. Our guide/driver was Anthony and he did an incredible job taking us around Ngorongoro, Serengeti, and Tarangire. He has extremely sharp eyes and was able to spot many different animals for us. We spotted the Big 5 two days into the safari! Anthony is also an extremely experienced guide. He is very knowledgeable about all the animals and was able to answer all of our questions. Not only did we leave the trip with lots of incredible photos, but also knowledge on how to distinguish between male and female giraffes/elephants/etc. and more facts about impalas than I’ll ever need. We truly enjoyed learning so much about all the animals we spotted! Other highlights include watching a cheetah and her cubs (the cubs were quite playful so it was exciting to watch), seeing a pack of lionesses, and a herd of elephants. There were too many incredible moments to list them all. Thank you to everyone at Kilipeak Adventure for making this the most memorable trip for me and my brother.

Honestly, of the 15 or more safari trips I've taken in Kenya, South Africa & Tanzania, Kilipeak Adventure truly excelled. During our planning, this company worked closely with me, offering a great selection of lodging, working with our limited budget, and keeping me abreast of any changes. We were hosting a 1st time visitor to Africa, and they made two suggestions (An excellent Village Bike ride through Mto wa Mbu rice fields & banana plantations, and a lovely lunch at one of the lodges) that made this trip special. Kilipeak Adventures staff are ON TIME. Their vehicles are clean, well-equipped vehicles (charging stations, small fridge, plenty of binoculars, very good animal, bird and insect reference books). Our tour guide Gilliard went above the call of duty to help us with check-in at lodging, tented camps and with extra requests. Gilliard is an absolute top notch tour guide - probably the best guide we've had over the past 15 years. He loves the animals & the earth, is extremely knowledgeable, and can converse on geology & ecology as well as animal and bird life. He has a 6th sense for finding animals in action, which allowed us to see a cheetah mother & adolescent cubs take down a Grant's gazelle (previous safari) and a monitor lizard battle some plovers over their eggs (this trip). Gilliard related well with our two teenage boys; our entire family was delighted with the trip. Gilliard's strong desire to reach out to Tanzanian kids and teach them about wildlife and instill a love and respect for nature is also admirable - he visits local schools and gives wildlife talks during his (very few) spare moments. I would highly recommend Kilipeak Adventure. We will be booking them for future safaris. Give them a try - you will NOT be disappointed. Asante sana!!!!!

My 4 friends and I have finally completed trekking up Kilimanjaro after many postponements and nearly giving up on this trip all together. We are grateful to Kilipeak Adventure for accommodating our numerous changes on travel dates, numbers in our party with no additional fee. The private climb was awesome, we enjoyed a rather quiet trek as traffic was unusually low not like in 2018 when we had done the Kilimanjaro mini-trek. Kudos to the Kilipeak Adventure Team for the awesome support and wonderful unforgettable memories. We really appreciate taking our health seriously with COVID 19 precautions, regular sanitizing, protective gear and all ..... Not to forget the great meals! Kilipeak Adventure are awesome people.

My wife and I celebrated our 15-year anniversary while on Safari with Kilipeak Adventure. We were a bit hesitant to go ahead with our plans because of the pandemic, but we took the chance, and I am glad we did. The hygiene protocols in the entire country were pretty strict, with everyone wearing masks and sanitizing hands before every interaction. We had researched several tour operators before deciding on Kilipeak Adventure. Our interaction with Abel sealed the deal for us. He was extremely professional in all our communications, and the company's policies are very friendly. We were particularly impressed with the transparency in their pricing. They were the only company to itemize guiding and accommodation charges. They are also very flexible and were able to accommodate two last-minute change of plans: 1. Our international airline cancelled our original flight, and we ended up arriving in Dar es Salaam instead of Kilimanjaro one day earlier. Abel suggested alternatives to get us back on track and save our trip at pretty much the same cost. 2. We loved the safari so much that we decided to extend it one more day. Abel make sure to make arrangements with Coastal Aviation to depart from Seronera, Serengeti one day later. The safari itself was amazing. Gilliard is one of the most energetic, cheerful, and lively people we've ever met. I sincerely think our safari experience would not have been the same without him. I think he really embodies the spirit of "hakuna matata" -- a worry-free and problem-free philosophy that will really help you leave all your stress at the door and enjoy the ride. Aside from his amazing upbeat personality, Gilliard must have binoculars for eyes. He was able to spot animals from unbelievable distances. I have 20/10 vision, and was barely able to keep up with the aid of my camera's zoom. He is a very good teacher though, and by the end of the safari, my wife and I spotted several animals by ourselves. Thanks to Gilliard expertise, we were also able to witness incredible and extremely rare action in the parks: a cheetah hunting a rabbit, a leopard taking a Thomson gazelle up a tree and then losing it to a hyena, a pride of lionesses attacking a buffalo, and a black rhino charging a park ranger's jeep (thanks Gilliard for your patience in finding the rhino). We are already planning our next safari, but we'll work our dates around his schedule to make sure Gilliard. is the one guiding us in our next adventure. Thank you Gilliard and all of the Kilipeak Adventure team for such an amazing and unforgettable experience!

Kilipeak adventure proved itself to be the best choice to succeed our attempt to ascend Mt Kilimanjaro. We went up to the summit using the Machame route on a 7day trek. We deled directly with Abel through emails, business was fair and straightforward. He welcomed us warmly in Tanzania and assisted us in many aspects of trip. Our guide, Florence, and assistant guide, Richard, are highly experienced, professional and competent. They were efficient at understanding our capacity and making sure that we took all the precautions to make the ascension a success. They skillfully managed all aspects of the trek. The whole team was very helpful and service was perfect. They selected the best campsites and made perfect layouts, making our spare times memorable. Food was delicious, various and plenty. Equipment was in perfect state and recent. Above all, everybody was friendly and warm, making it, above the physical challenge, a memorable human experience.

We returned from trekking Mount Kilimanjaro. Our trip organizer, Abel Lema, was fantastic. He was prompt to reply to every question (we had many) and came through with every promise and more. Kilipeak Adventue’s pricing was very competitive. I was concerned about wiring the deposit money (20%), but the more I worked with Abel the more comfortable I became. As soon as he received our wire, I was informed. (We paid the balance upon arrival.) We were greeted at the airport by Abel and Anthony and taken to our hotel, “The Kilimanjaro Mountain Resort”. We found everyone to be friendly and professional. We hiked the Rongai Route and were very pleased with our guides, porters and cook. All did everything possible to make our trip a memorable one. The guides were very well trained and watched us very closely to make sure we were acclimating to the higher altitudes. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about this group/company. We finished our trip with a safari. Also, arranged by Abel Lema. Our guide, Gilliard, was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the animals. We saw everything. He kept us going from sun up to sundown. We enjoyed staying in the tented camps and driving across the country to take in all the sites of the Serengeti. I strongly suggest if you’re going to Tanzania to climb Kilimanjaro, after trekking don’t leave without seeing their animals! I hope to see you again Abel and you are amazing team

I just returned from a two week trip in Tanzania with Kilipeak Adventures and it was absolutely amazing. I would 100% recommend this company and can't wait to come back. I began my trip with a 6-day Machame climb with three other climbers from the Swaziland. From the beginning, Kilipeak Adventures was accommodating and helpful. Our guides, Jonas and Wilfred, were encouraging, fun, and very knowledgeable/professional. All four of us made it to the summit! It was a great time, and it was one of the best feelings of my life. Our group also had the Kilipeak Adventures photographer/videographer who captured each day of our climb and after we returned to Arusha, they put together a video recapping our experience and the drive of all the photos-- definitely utilize this option. We were the only group on the mountain with a photographer! After the climb, my mother flew in from the Swaziland and met me for a 6-day safari with Kilipeak Adventures. Our guide was Gilliard and again he was amazing. Totally knowledgeable and fun. We saw the big five, cheetahs, wildebeest migration, everything! We were so sad to leave. Abel was very very responsive to all of my emails throughout the process. He answered every single one of my pestering questions and it made me feel very confident leading up to my trip. If anyone has any questions about my experience, feel free to reach out. Thank you Abel, and everyone else at Kilipeak Adventures. We had an amazing time and can't wait to return.

Gilliard is a great guide and gave us amazing safari experience! He’s very experienced, knowledgeable and patient. He’s very easy going and set the schedule based on our preferences. With the Covid-19, he always sanitizes all the luggage, handle bar in the car and remind us to use the hand sanitizer. He made us feel safe to travel in Tanzania with Covid-19! Kilipeak Adventure also did a really good job with setting up our itinerary and communication! They helped us to fit in all what we want to do within a few days’ time. That’s why we picked them! In summary we had a perfect honeymoon! Thanks William and Kilipeak Adventure!
