Day 1: Arrival in Moshi

On the first day of your 8 days trekking tour to kilimanjaro, the tour begins in the town of Moshi, located near Kilimanjaro region. After arriving and meeting the kilimanjaro on top tour guide, you will receive a briefing about the trek and make final preparations. Proper equipment and supplies are essential for a successful and enjoyable experience.

Day 2, Machame Gate to Machame Camp

On the second day of your 8 days trekking tour to kilimanjaro, You will meet with Kilimanjaro on Top tour guide who will pick you up to machame gate to start our trek from Machame Gate (1,800 meters/5,905 feet) and trek through the rainforest zone. The trail gradually ascends, and after around 5-7 hours of trekking, we will reach at Machame Camp (2,835 meters/9,301 feet) for overnight camping.

Day 3: Machame Camp to Shira Camp

On the third day of your 8 days kilimanjaro trekking tour via machame route, As trikes we will ascend further, we leave the rainforest behind and enter the moorland zone. The terrain transforms into a vast expanse of rolling hills and heather, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The trek usually takes around 4-6 hours, and reaching Shira Camp at 3,750 meters (12,303 feet) marks another milestone on the journey.

Day 4: Shira Camp to Baranco camp

On the fourth day of your 8 days trekking tour we will continue our ascent on day four, as a trekkers we will encounter the majestic Lava Tower at 4,600 meters (15,091 feet). This section of the trail provides valuable acclimatization, preparing the body for higher altitudes. The descent continue from Lava Tower leads to Barranco Camp, located at 3,976 meters (13,044 feet) where we will stay for overnight.

Day 5: Baranco Camp to Karanga Camp

On fifth day of your 8 days trekking tour to kilimanjaro mountain via machame route, as a trekkers we will depart from Barranco Camp and trek through the alpine desert terrain towards Karanga Camp. The stark beauty of this landscape, characterized by rocky outcrops and sparse vegetation, is truly awe-inspiring. After a 4-5 hour trek, we will reach Karanga Camp at 3,995 meters (13,106 feet), where we will spend the night and wait for the next day trekking tour.

Day 6: Karanga camp to Barafu Camp

Sixth day is a crucial day in your 8 days trekking tour to kilimanjaro mountain, we will make ourr way from Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp, the base camp for the final summit push. The elevation increases to 4,673 meters (15,331 feet), and the air becomes noticeably thinner. After reaching at barafu rest and proper hydration are vital during this phase, as trekkers we will prepare ourselves mentally and physically for the challenging summit attempt.

Day 7: Barafu to Uhuru to Mweka

On seventh day of your 8 days trekking tour to kilimanjaro mountain this is a summit day where we willl begin the summit attempt in the early hours of the morning. Reach Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters/19,341 feet), the highest point of Mount Kilimanjaro, and enjoy the breathtaking views. Then we will descend to Mweka Camp (3,100 meters/10,171 feet) for overnight camping. The descent takes about 10-14 hours in total.

Day 8: Mweka, Mweka Gate to Moshi

On an eighth day this will be your final day for your 8 days trekking tour to kilimanjaro mountain, we will complete the final descent to Mweka Gate (1,640 meters/5,381 feet). Where you will receive your summit certificates and bid farewell to your mountain crew. Transfer back to Moshi for a well-deserved celebration and rest.
