Day 1: Rongai Gate trek up to Simba

On the first day of your 6 days rongai route trekking tour, you will drive from the Rongai Gate, located on the northeastern side of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will start the trek through the lush rainforest, on your trekking tour you will be spotting wildlife along the way. After few hours you will reach at the Simba Camp (2,600 meters) and rest for the night.

Day 2: From Simba to second cave

On your second day of your 6 days rongai route trekking tour you will continue ascending through the moorland, enjoying the panoramic views. Pass the Second Cave and reach the Second Cave Camp (3,450 meters) for overnight stay

Day 3: Second cave to Kikelewa camp

After hearty breakfast you will continue your 6 days rongai route trekking tour to the Kikelewa Camp (3,600 meters) through the alpine desert. The trek offers breathtaking views of Mawenzi Peak and the surrounding landscape. Along the way you will be taking amazing photos for your an adventure memories.

Day 4: Kikelewa Camp to Kibo Hut

Day 5: Kibo to Summit to Horombo

Your trekking tour will continue early in the morning for the final push to the summit, Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters). Witness the breathtaking sunrise from the summit and take memorable photos, and descend to Horombo Hut (3,720 meters) for a well-deserved rest and overnight stay.

Day 6: Horombo hut-Marangu to Moshi

You will descend through the moorland to the Marangu Gate (1,860 meters). Receive your summit certificates and say goodbye to the mountain. Transfer back to your hotel in Moshi to rest and celebrate your achievement.
