Moshi to Mandara Hut (2,700m / 8,858ft) After breakfast, drive to the Kilimanjaro National Park entrance (Marangu Gate). Complete park registration and begin the trek through the rainforest. Hike to Mandara Hut where you'll spend the night. Enjoy the scenic surroundings.

Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut (3,720m / 12,205ft) Continue the trek through the moorland, passing through the heather and giant lobelias. Reach Horombo Hut and rest for the night. Take in the stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Acclimatization at Horombo Hut This day is for acclimatization to increase your chances of reaching the summit. You'll have the option to hike to Zebra Rocks or explore the Mawenzi Tarn. Return to Horombo Hut for overnight.

Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut (4,703m / 15,430ft) Ascend through the barren alpine desert, getting closer to the summit. Reach Kibo Hut, situated at the bottom of the Kibo crater wall. Rest and prepare for the final push to the summit.

Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak (5,895m / 19,341ft) and Descend to Horombo Hut Begin the summit attempt around midnight. The climb will be steep and challenging. Reach Gilman's Point (5,681m / 18,638ft) at the edge of the crater, witnessing a breathtaking sunrise. Continue to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa! Take photos and celebrate your achievement. Descend back to Kibo Hut for a short rest, then continue to Horombo Hut for overnight.

Descend through the rainforest to the Marangu Gate. Say goodbye to your guide and porters and receive your summit certificate. Transfer back to your hotel in Moshi for a well-deserved celebration and relaxation.
