Itinerary

Day 1

Volcanoes

Pick up and transfer to Volcanoes National Park. You will be picked up from your hotel in Kigali for a short city tour, lunch stop at Musanze and transferred to Volcanoes national park (Kinigi) where can visit Gorilla Gaudian Village for a Cultural Experience of the community around. Check in your accommodation

Day 2

Volcanoes

Breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the lodge. You will head for a briefing by ranger guides at 7:30 and at 8:30 am with packed lunch. You will start the trek to hunt for the gorillas and after finding them you will spend with them a maximum of 1 hour. This walk can take 4-5 hours depending on where you meet the gorillas. The park is steep, it is a real hike, and being physically fit is recommended. After trekking, you will return to the lodge

Day 3

Volcanoes

After the Early breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the lodge. You will head to the park Headquarters. You will be taken to the briefing point for a briefing about the dos and don’ts of golden monkeys. This will take us through the edges of the forest via potato fields then the trekking will take 3-4 hours, after the trekking, we shall return to the lodge for lunch and proceed to Kigali for your flight back home.
