Arrival at Kigali & Airport Pick Up

You’ll be welcomed by one of our Heritage Safaris driver guide from Kigali International Airport and head to Marriot hotel for dinner and overnight. You will choose either to have a city night tours or remain at the hotel for relaxation as you wait for your next day's trip.

Transfer to Akagera National Park

After morning breakfast, the representatives of Heritage safaris will transfer drive you to Magashi camp where you’ll have lunch, experience game drives and a boat tour where you explore the beauty, flora and fauna of Akagera national park. Dinner and overnight will be at Magashi camp.

On this day, you’ll have early morning breakfast then embark on a journey of a lifetime taken through a full day game drive that will feature views of a large number of wild animals like zebras, antelope, buffaloes and a quest to find the big five of the Savannah. There will be a stopover for a picnic lunch and an overnight at Magashi camp.

Transfer to Nyungwe National Park

You’ll have relaxed breakfast as you take in the scenic view around Magashi camp. Later on, you’ll have lunch then enjoy a ride from Akagera National Park in the Eastern province to Nyungwe One & Only house in the South- Western part of Rwanda. Dinner and overnight will be at the One & Only Nyungwe house.

Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe

You’ll have early morning breakfast then drive to the park reception for briefing before you start the remarkable trek to track the Chimpanzees. You’ll have an afternoon of relaxation with lunch at One & Only Nyungwe house. Dinner and overnight will be still be at One & Only Nyungwe house.

Transfer To Musanze

After breakfast, meet your safari guide who will transfer you to Musanze for hot Lunch. After lunch, you’ll relax at the lodge as you take in the beautiful view of the Volcanoes. You’ll have a born fire lit with entertainment by a cultural troupe. You will may opt to enjoy the city walk or remain at the lodge and relaxe.

After an early morning breakfast, we’ll embark on the Mountain Gorilla encounter in the prehistoric forests at 7:00 am. The trek will commence with briefing at the park headquarters before proceeding to the forest in search of our closest cousins. Walking through the forest and eventually having direct encounter with these spectacular primates makes the trek memorable. After the gorilla trekking, you will head to lodge for lunch and evenning relaxation.

Golden Monkey Trekking

After an early morning breakfast, we’ll embark on the golden monkey trekking encounter in the prehistoric forests at 5:00 am. The trek starts at 7:30 am commencing with briefing at the park headquarters before proceeding to the quest of finding these beautiful creatures. After the trekking you will visit Gorilla Guardian village then head to the lodge for lunch, dinner and overnight.

Hike To Dian Fossy Tomb & Kigali

You’ll have early morning breakfast and later head to park reception for briefing and registration before starting the hike to dian fossey’s tomb. After the hike, you’ll go back to the lodge for late lunch, check out then embark on a scenic drive to Kigali. Dinner and overnight will be at Kigali Marriott hotel.

Departure Flight

Final day will be comprised of an early breakfast, check out of hotel and drop off by Heritage Safaris guide at Kigali International airport for outbound flight. That will mark the end of your 10 Days Luxury tour in Rwanda.
