This 5-day trip takes you to Ziwa rhino Sanctuary to track the white Rhino and Kidepo Valley national park, one of Uganda’s most spectacular parks which is located in Uganda’s remote northeastern corner. It is 1,442 square kilometers and harbors scenery unsurpassed in any other park in East Africa. Tucked into the corner of Uganda’s border with Sudan and Kenya, the park offers breathtaking savannah landscapes. Here, you will be able to see many lion, cheetah, and the rare ostrich together with a Cultural community walk of Karamojong people.

Day1

Have an early breakfast and drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for 3hr from Kampala, Here you will have a chance to visit the Rhinos, have lunch stop and then procced to Gulu for a rest as you windup the day.

Day2

Kidepo Valley

Have an early breakfast and setoff to Kidepo National Park from Gulu, the far northeast where Uganda borders Kenya and Southern Sudan. You will have an opportunity of viewing spectacular Aruu falls in North of Uganda, then procced to Savannah lodge for lunch. later in evening, setoff for game drive in park where you have a chance to see birds & wildlife close.

Day3

Kidepo Valley

Breakfast in the morning, go on a morning game drive to Narus Valley and Kanangorok Hot Springs. Here, a variety of animals and birds can be seen including the fast-running Ostrich. Continue to lodge for lunch and have a brief rest. Have an evening game drive that will take you to see herds of buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards and the cheetahs. You will also spot a variety of birds. Regular stops will be made for photo as you return lodge to windup the day.

Kidepo Valley

After breakfast, experience the beautiful scenery as you travel back to Kampala with an en-route lunch. The travel time from Kidepo National Park to Kampala is about 9 hours.
