Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp
Kilimanjaro
After breakfast, you'll be driven to the Londorossi Gate, where you'll complete registration formalities. From there, you'll proceed by vehicle to the Lemosho starting point. The first day of hiking is a relatively easy trek through the lush rainforest. Your destination for the day is the Mti Mkubwa Camp, where you'll spend the night.

Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira 1 Camp
Kilimanjaro
Today, you'll continue through the rainforest until reaching the moorland zone. The landscape changes dramatically as you ascend, and you'll have some beautiful views of the Shira Plateau. Your camp for the night is the Shira 1 Camp.

Day 3: Shira 1 Camp to Moir Hut
Kilimanjaro
On this day, you'll trek across the Shira Plateau, gradually gaining altitude. You'll pass through the Lava Tower before descending to the Moir Hut, where you'll spend the night. This day serves as an excellent opportunity for acclimatization.

Moir Hut to Barranco Camp

Today's hike takes you across the alpine desert zone. You'll have a challenging but rewarding day as you ascend to the Lava Tower at 4,600 meters (15,090 feet) before descending to the Barranco Camp. This campsite offers stunning views of the Barranco Wall and the valley below.

: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

The day begins with a scramble up the Barranco Wall, a thrilling and scenic part of the climb. After conquering the wall, you'll traverse the southern circuit path and make your way to the Karanga Camp. This campsite provides excellent views of the surrounding glaciers.

Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
Kilimanjaro
From the Karanga Camp, you'll continue your ascent toward Barafu Camp, which is the last campsite before the summit push. This day's trek is relatively short, allowing you to rest and prepare for the challenging summit night ahead.

Day 7: Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak
Kilimanjaro
You'll start the climb to the summit very early in the morning, usually around midnight. The ascent is steep and demanding but incredibly rewarding. After reaching the summit of Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa, you'll descend to the Mweka Camp for overnight rest.

Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate

On the final day, you'll descend through the rainforest to the Mweka Gate, where you'll receive your summit certificates. From there, you'll be transferred back to your hotel for a well-deserved rest and celebration.
