Day 1: Arrive in Moshi

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel in Moshi. Meet your trekking guide for a briefing about your upcoming Kilimanjaro trek.Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel

Day 2: Hiking through Shira 1 camp

After breakfast, you will be driven to the Lemosho gate, where you will complete registration formalities before starting the Kilimanjaro trek. The route begins with a steady climb through the lush Lemosho Glades towards the Shira Plateau. Overnight stay at the Shira 1 camp.

Day 3: Trekking to Shira 2 Camp

After breakfast, you will continue on the Kilimanjaro trek, passing through the scenic Moorland Zone with its unique plant and animal species. The route crosses the Shira Ridge before descending to the Shira 2 campsite. Overnight stay at Shira 2 camp.

Day 4: Hike to Barranco Camp

Today's trek takes you through the high desert plateau towards Lava Tower, a massive volcanic formation that marks the transition from the Shira Plateau to the Barranco Valley. You will then descend to Barranco campsite, with stunning views of the valley and its towering walls. Overnight stay at Barranco camp.

Day 5: Trekking to Karanga Camp

After breakfast, you will continue on the Kilimanjaro trek, navigating the Barranco Wall, a steep and challenging climb. You will then cross the Karanga Valley before ascending to the Karanga Valley campsite, located at the base of the Barafu route. Overnight stay at Karanga camp.

Day 6: Trek to Barafu Camp

Today's trek takes you through the alpine desert, with magnificent views of the summit and surrounding glaciers. You will ascend the Barafu route towards the Barafu campsite, your base camp for the final ascent to the summit. Overnight stay at Barafu camp.

Day 7: Summit Day

Kilimanjaro

After a midnight wake-up call and breakfast, you will begin the final ascent to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. You will trek through the icy and rocky terrain, taking frequent rest stops to acclimatize and catch your breath. After reaching the summit, you will descend back to Barafu campsite for a well-deserved rest. Overnight stay at Barafu camp.

Day 8: Mweka Gate and Departure

Kilimanjaro

After breakfast, you will descend through the lush rainforest towards the Mweka gate, where you will complete the necessary paperwork and receive your Kilimanjaro trekking certificate. You will then be transferred back to your hotel in Moshi for a celebratory dinner and overnight stay. The next day, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
