Maasai Mara (Masai Mara) is known as Africa’s greatest wildlife reserve, situated in the
southwest Kenya. Famous for the abundance lions, the Great wildebeest migration, where over 1
million wildebeest and zebras follow annual migration route from and to Serengeti to Maasai
Mara and the Maasai people well known for their distinctive custom and dress, it is without a
doubt one of the most famous safari destinations.
Maasai Mara National Reserve stretches 1,510sq km (580sq miles) and raise 1,500-2,170 meters
above sea level. The terrain of the reserve is primarily grassland and riverine forest with clumps
of the acacia trees. It’s about 270km from the capital city Nairobi and takes 5-6hrs by road or 45
minutes by flight.
The Maasai Mara Ecosystem holds one of the highest lion densities in the world and this is
where over two million wildebeest, zebra and Thompsons Gazelle migrate annually. Its host’s
over95 species of mammals and 570 recorded species of bird. This is considered the 7th wonder
of the world.

Nairobi- Masai Mara

Masai Mara

Pick up from Nairobi at 8.00 am and head southward to the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley to Maasai Mara. Arriving in the afternoon have lunch and Checks in. Then proceed to the park for afternoon game drives at 1600hrs to 1800hrs followed by dinner and overnight stay at the camp/lodge

Masai Mara

Full day is spent exploring the park in search of the big five. The Mara offers wildlife in such a great variety and abundance that is truly difficult to believe. Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra from Serengeti (Tanzania). The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve, Picnic lunch is served in the park. dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge
