Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be met by a representative from Burigi Chato Safaris who will transfer you to your hotel in Moshi. Here, you'll have a chance to relax and prepare for your upcoming adventure.
Day 2: Mandara Hut

After an early breakfast, you'll be driven to Marangu Gate where you'll meet your team of experienced guides and porters. From there, you'll start your trek through lush rainforest, where you may spot some wildlife, including black and white colobus monkeys. After approximately four hours of hiking, you'll reach Mandara Hut, where you'll spend the night.
Day 3:Horombo Hut

After breakfast, you'll continue your trek up the mountain, passing through heathland and moorland. Along the way, you'll enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape, including the Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. After approximately six hours of hiking, you'll reach Horombo Hut, where you'll spend the night.
Day 4:Kibo Hut
After breakfast, you'll continue your ascent to Kibo Hut. This section of the trek is particularly challenging as you'll be hiking through a desert-like landscape. After approximately six hours of hiking, you'll reach Kibo Hut, where you'll spend the night.
Day 5: Horombo Hut

Today is the day you'll reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro! You'll start your ascent at midnight, hiking through the darkness with your headlamp to guide you. After approximately six to eight hours of hiking, you'll reach Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Here, you'll have a chance to take in the incredible views before beginning your descent to Horombo Hut, where you'll spend the night.
Day 6: Marangu Gate to Moshi

After breakfast, you'll start your descent to Marangu Gate, where you'll sign out of the national park and receive your certificate of completion. From there, you'll be driven back to Moshi, where you can relax and celebrate your incredible accomplishment.
