The reserve is reach in wildlife with fame for abundance in rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx (Also referred as Samburu Special). The reserve is also popular with a minimum of 900 elephants. Large predators such as the Lion, Leopard and Cheetah are an important attraction. Wild dog sightings are also a common attraction to this unique protected area. Birdlife is abundant with over 450 species recorded.

Nairobi - Samburu Road Trip

Samburu

You will be Picked at your hotel or place of residence within Nairobi at 0600hrs. Proceed to Samburu national park. The game viewing begins immediately after checking in the park as you prepare for lunch at the Camp /Lodge. After lunch and afternoon relaxation, proceed for an evening game drive and later return to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Full Day Game Drive

Wake up in time for breakfast, leave for a full day game drive and sight-seeing to the Samburu National Park. Later in the evening return in the camp/lodge for relaxation, swimming, and other fun activities in the hotel.

Samburu - Nairobi

Wake up in time for breakfast, after which you shall enjoy some relaxation and swimming before checking out at 1000hrs to start your journey back to Nairobi.
