Leave Nairobi and drive to Amboseli via the beautiful Athi plains. You will arrive at Amboseli National Park in time for lunch. Amboseli is famous for its large herds of elephants and also for Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak and the only highest free standing mountain in the world, providing a beautiful snow-capped backdrop.
