Today's trekking will take you through the rocky landscape of the Shira Plateau, with stunning views of the Western Breach and its glaciers. You will pass through Lava Tower, an impressive volcanic formation at an elevation of 4,640 meters, before descending to Barranco Camp, at an elevation of 3,976 meters. This descent helps with acclimatization and the views of the Barranco Wall and the surrounding valleys are breathtaking.
