This safari will take you to Uganda’s largest Park known as Murchison Falls National Park, situated in Northwestern Uganda covering an area of 3,840 sq km. It is classified with Savannah grasslands and the Victoria Nile that flows through separating the park into the northern and southern bank. Murchison Falls is home to over 451 bird species such as the Great blue Turaco, Goliath heron, the Shoebill, and the dwarf kingfisher among others, 76 mammal species, a big number of Nile crocodiles and above all the magnificent and thunderous Murchison Falls squeezing its way through an 8m wide gorge. On this safari, you will have an opportunity to enjoy both our Uganda safari game drives and the boat cruises along the Nile River.

Travel to Murchison falls via Ziwa
Murchison Falls
After an early breakfast, our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel.You will start your journey to the park, enroute you will branch off for a visit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will enjoy a guided walk to see the Rhinos. Enjoy Lunch enroute before your proceed to the park. Upon entry you will start noticing the baboons and later warthogs among others as you drive to the lodge for check in. Evening will be spent relaxing and unwinding from the long drive.

Murchison Falls
After an early cup of coffee, head out for your wild life encounter during the morning Game drive.Buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, lions, leopards, water bucks and birds among others are among the animals you expect to see. Enjoy your lunch at the Lodge then head off for the afternoon 3 Hour boat cruise on the Nile to see the Nile crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, and elephants along the banks of the Nile and aquatic birds. Transfer you back to the lodge in the evening for relaxation.

Enjoy your breakfast, enjoy the hotel facilities for abit. Then leave the park for your travel back. You will make several stops on the way as you may wish for some Kodak moments and also Lunch. Visit road side Markets, see the fresh fruits and Vegetables that Uganda is proud to have. Continue with the journey reaching your hotel in the evening.
