ARRIVE ENTEBBE

Bwindi Impenetrable

We hope that your flight is for an early landing (before 10:00 am) in Uganda. where guide will receive you and then depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi is a big habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda, harboring almost half of the world’s gorilla population. The drive will take you to southwest Uganda, cross the equator mark, then head to Mbarara city for lunch, thereafter pass through the hilly terrain of western Uganda into Bwindi. check in to your accommodation.

GORILLA TREKKING BWINDI FOREST

After breakfast, proceed to the rangers’ post. You will receive a briefing on the dos and don’ts during the trekking. You will then enter the Bwindi Forest for your adventure. The area offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense. It is crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain varies with the movements of these great primates. Once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence.

DEPART LAKE BUNYONYI

You will have a relaxed breakfast with a spectacular view of Bunyonyi's little islands right in front of you. Thereafter, you will hit the road for the return to Entebbe. Arrive in the late afternoon/evening for your flight. We hope to see you (or any referral) on your next visit.
