Itinerary
Day 1: Marangu- Kilema- Horombo
Kilimanjaro
You will be picked up from your hotel at 7:30 a.m. This morning, we travelled through the semi-tropical foothills of Kilimanjaro to Marangu gate, where we registered and obtained permits. We then drive to Kilema gate to enter the national park and begin the 100% bicycle-based ascent to Horombo Hut. 19 kilometers of cycling are covered, and the terrain is forested and moorland.

Day 2: Horombo- Mawenzi- Horombo
Kilimanjaro
After breakfast, you start cycling across the Alpine desert; in certain places, you'll be riding on small stones up to Mawenzi Hut and back to Horombo Hut. 90% of the cycling distance today is on "Alpine desert vegetation."

Day 3: Horombo Hut - Kibo Hut
Kilimanjaro
Make sure your backpacks are prepared for travel and that you get up early. After breakfast, meet your guide, and then we ascend to Kibo Hut once more. Once more, the first 3 km would involve a lot of pushing and dragging your bike, whereas the last 7 km to Kibo hut offer a nice bicycle track. After enjoying lunch, we'll try to get some rest. To prepare for the summit attempt later that night, it may be possible to hike a portion of the summit trail at around 16h00, depending on how you feel.

Day 4: Kibo Hut- Summit- Horombo
Kilimanjaro
Your guides will wake you up at four in the morning to begin the serpentine climb up the long screen slope. You should arrive at Hans Meyer's Cave after about two hours, and the incline becomes steeper from here. Continue your hike for another three hours or so to Gilman's Point, where you will pick up your bike from the porters and begin riding to Uhuru Peak. Once there, you will spend a short time taking pictures and then ride back down to Stella Point.
