Itinerary

Day 1: Momella gate to Miriakamba

Arusha

You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the Momella Gate in Arusha National Park after an early breakfast in Arusha (1400 m). The porters will prepare and pack your hiking gear (TANAPA) after you and your guide register with the Tanzania National Park. The ascent will then start in Arusha National Park.

Day 2: Miriakamba hut to saddle hut

Arusha

You will begin climbing the arduous trail along the saddle's ridge after breakfast. Along the trip, you might observe a variety of species! The Ash Tray and Mount Meru Crater may both be seen from the route. You have the option to hike Little Mt. Meru (3820 m) with your guide after you get to camp to help you adjust to the altitude. We will feed you dinner early so you have plenty of time to recuperate before your midnight summit attempt. Before midnight, go to bed!

Day 3: Saddle hut to Miriakamba hut
