Day One: Airport pick up

Your Ntungo Wildlife Safaris guide will pick from the airport and you will be taken to your lodge for check in. Depending on the time of arrival, you will have a chance to do a mini tour of Entebbe, Uganda’s oldest town. Meal plan: Lunch, dinner

Transfer to Kibale forest N-Park

Kibale

Your designated Ntungo Wildlife safaris guide will pick you from your Hotel/Place of residence. You will transfer to Kibale National Park through Fort Portal. A stopover in the recently named city for a brief cultural dosage as you visit the Toro palace where the current Monarch was once the world’s youngest King at only 3 years old. You will check into your lodge and for the rest of the evening, have dinner and prepare for the next day’s activity. Meal plan: Breakfast lunch dinner

Kibale

Kibale national park has the highest concentration of primates in the world. A visit to the tropical forest gives you opportunities to view man’s closest relatives in close proximity with trained and knowledgeable guides. You will have a guided forest walk for the habituated chimpanzee experience. After chimpanzee trekking, you will have the opportunity to visit the Bigodi swamp You will transfer to queen Elizabeth National Park for the evening. Meal Plan: Breakfast, lunch and Dinner

Today you will start the day with a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. Named after the Queen of England II, Uganda’s most visited National Park. A home to the king of the jungle, leopards, lots of antelope species, over 600 bird species that you may sight chirping about as you drive through the park. In the afternoon, you will go to the Boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. In the evening as you return to the lodge, you will have a game drive. Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi N-Park

Bwindi Impenetrable

Today you will travel from the northern part of Queen Elizabeth national park to the southwestern part where tree-climbing lions are sighted. The Ishasha sector may give you chances to have a glimpse of these lions climbing. There are several myths behind this behaviour. Our guides will tell the story in detail. A bush lunch is highly recommended here and thereafter proceed to Buhoma area in preparation for Gorilla trekking. Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Mountain Gorilla trekking

The long-awaited day to experience the giants is here! Your driver will pick you from your lodge and take you to the starting point where you will meet the Gorilla tracking guide. This is home to over 640 Mountain gorillas, the highest in Africa. The experience involves hiking through the thick vegetation of the park. Once you find them, you will spend one hour with the gorillas and return to the park headquarters thereafter. Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Transfer to lake Bunyonyi

You will embark on a journey to lake Bunyonyi, Uganda’s deepest lake and Africa’s second deepest after L. Tanganyika. Lake Bunyonyi is known for its beauty. It has 29 islands and each of these has an intriguing story. Here, you will go island hopping, learning about the different islands like “the punishment island” where historically, girls from the kiga tribe who got premarital pregnancies were taken and left to die while trying to swim back. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Travel back to Kampala

Today you will travel to Kampala through the Ankole region, and Igongo cultural center where you will optionally see the Eclipse monument. You will then have your lunch before continuing to Kampala with another stopover at the equator and to the airport for departure. Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
