Arrival and transfer to your lodge

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport just outside Uganda's capital city Kampala, you will be welcomed by a representative of EBS TOURS & SAFARIS and transferred to your lodge

Fly to Kibale National Park

Kibale

After breakfast, a charter flight takes you across the lush Ugandan countryside to the primates capital, Kibale Forest National Park. Your guide will be waiting for you at the airstrip, and then head straight to the park headquarters for check-in and briefing about your chimp trekking. It is about a one hour and a half flight from Entebbe to fort portal.

On this day after taking your breakfast you will embark on the journey to the home of mountain gorillas, about 7-8 hours drive from Kibale so you will reach in the evening and check-in at your lodge, have a relaxation and overnight.

Early this morning, head out with park rangers to track mountain gorillas. Sit among these gentle giants, observing their interactions, listening to their distinctive grumbles, and viewing one of the planet’s most endangered creatures from an awe-inspiring, up-close perspective. Time permitting, you may go for an afternoon walk to waterfalls set amid tree ferns and orchids, or pay a visit to a nearby village and watch a dance performance by the Batwa Pygmies.
