Day 4 we make our way to our private camp in the BIG 5 Klaserie Game Reserve (part of the Greater Kruger Park) and get there just in time for lunch, a safari and enjoying our first night under the stars enjoyed with a magnificent home cooked meal, prepared by our own, personal chef Lindsay! This camp is completely private and only your family and I will be present allowing you privacy that you will not find anywhere else. Situated just off the banks of the Klaserie River in a BIG 5 game reserve open to the world-famous Kruger National Park, the camp is a luxury camp. Recently upgraded and refurbished, it is set amongst beautiful natural gardens with well-established trees and fantastic bird life. It is the perfect camp for family and friends to come together and experience the bush. Each room is luxuriously built with a stylish en-suite bathroom. The camp has a comfortable lounge and indoor dining room, outdoor seating, barbeque and fire area, and a splash pool Our days are spent getting up early and enjoying a morning game drive looking for Africa’s Big 5! Beside the Big 5, all the major plains game like giraffe, zebra and kudu are all present providing amazing photography options! Lion and leopard are seen often in the area. . I like to show you how intimate Mother Nature can be and will also introduce you to the smaller and lesser known creatures. We will also learn about local trees and their medicinal properties as well as getting to know the local bird population This tour is VERY private and perfect for people who want to experience an African safari on their own steam. Morning and evening drives are designed around you and your family What an adventure! We leave our camp after a safari and an amazing breakfast and make our way back to Johannesburg, stopping in Dullstroom once more to swap stories and photos!
