These 2 days safaris take you to one of the smallest National Parks in Uganda that
is lake mburo national park which is located approximately 240km (by road)
west of Kampala; it takes you about 4 hours to drive to the park. The park is home
to over 68 mammal species such as buffaloes, bush pigs, leopards, and zebras as
well as various bird species. It is famous for having large numbers of Zebras. The
park also has great sceneries starting from the rolling hills, the lush forests to the
Savannah grasslands, and seasonal swamps to lakes. There are 5 lakes in the park
where by you can engage in sport fishing where you can catch a large tilapia and
other fish species, also large numbers of hippos occupy the lakes. While in the park
you might not miss out on seeing the leopards, hyenas, and side stripped jackals in
the night.

Itinerary

Day 1: BOAT CRUISE

Have a morning breakfast at the hotel in after which you will be picked up by our driver guide, he will also brief you more about the 2 Days safari in the park. You will later drive to towards the Western part of Uganda through towns like Lyantonde and Masaka. You will have a stopover at Mpambire drum makers village where you will observe and also get to know how the locals make the drums. On arrival in the park, continue for lunch at any hotel or lodge of your choice

: Morning Game drive

Have an early morning breakfast and start off the game drive through the Park, it takes 3 hours. This will give you an amazing glimpse of the Savannah and the 5 lakes. You will also see various animals such as buffaloes, antelopes, zebras, hyenas, topis, hippos, also not forgetting the different bird species on the acacia trees and near the lake making beautiful sounds. After the game drive check out and head to city Kampala having a stopover in Masaka for lunch and also at equator
