Arrival - Welcome/Karibu Tanzania

On arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport you will meet our driver who will transfer you to your Dar Es Salaam Hotel located by the beach. Given the long flight from your home country and the flight arrival time, once you are checked in at the hotel, you will unwind and rest. Meals will be provided on a half board basis ( Breakfast and Lunch or Dinner ).

Relaxing day at the Hotel

Today you will meet with your curator to go over the itinerary and plans for the upcoming days Get to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean from your hotel and a relaxing day at the swimming and or at the spa (optional with surcharge) to make you feel refreshed and ready for the days ahead

Dar es Salaam Cultural/City Tour

Around 9.00AM our driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel for Dar Es salaam city tour During this tour, you will visit many places of historical & cultural significance to the city and the country. You will also get a chance to see how locals go about their daily lives. The tour includes stops at the Azania Front Church, Saint Joseph Cathedral, Askari Monument, The Fish Market, The National Museum, Kariakoo Market, Mwenge Wood Carvers Market and Makumbusho Village

Transfer to Nyerere NP &Boat Safari

Nyerere (Selous)

At approx. 7.30 am, our driver will pick you up and transfer you to Nyerere National Park One big advantage of driving to Nyerere NP (as opposed to flying) is you will get a chance to see the beautiful countryside. As you move away from the city, the scenery and landscape slowly changes Upon arrival at Nyerere NP, you will check in at your hotel At around 4.00 pm, you will depart for a sunset river boat safari where you will spot hippos, crocodiles, birds and enjoy the spectacular sundown

Full Day Game Drive

Nyerere (Selous)

Today after breakfast, you will depart early morning for an exciting authentic safari with prepared lunch out in the bush. This is your chance to get closer to nature and the majestic wild animals. During your game drive you will experience the feeling of exclusiveness as the park is huge and you will more than likely not see many other safari vehicles around. Your game drive will end early evening. You may see more animals as you head back to your hotel/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

After early breakfast, you will depart from the hotel for an on route game drive to the hot spring It will be another day of spotting wild animals at the largest game reserve in Africa. The reserve is bigger than the country of the Netherlands You will enjoy your lunch in the bush During the game drive, you will make a stop at the natural hot spring where you have an option to swim Later on you will drive back to your hotel which face the great Rufiji River for dinner and relaxation

The Night Game Drive/Night Safari

Today you will spend your morning and afternoon relaxing at your hotel while enjoying the view of the Rufiji river Early evening we will pick you up and take you to an experience which is sure to leave lasting impression on you…our in high demand Night Safari! During the night safari you will get a chance to see lots of nocturnal animals, rodents, birds and a variety of mammals that you don’t normally see during the day. The night safari will last for about 4 hours

Village Tour & Depart to Zanzibar

In the morning, our driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you for a village tour where you will spend time with the indigenous tribe(s). The village tour offers you a memorable respectful opportunity to mingle with the villagers who have lived in the area for generations. Packed lunch will be included. Late afternoon, our driver will take you to the airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will meet our driver who will transfer you to your hotel.

Jozani Forest| Butterfly Center

At approximately 8:30am, you will visit (walking) Jozani Forest (a national park). The Park is home to many endemic species of flora and fauna such as; red colobus monkeys, the magical world of the Zanzibar mangroves, bushbuck and impressive trees and plants Once you are done with Jozani forest, you will visit nearby butterfly center. This delightful attraction is home to landscaped gardens that mimic the butterflies’ natural rainforest habitats You will spend the evening relaxing by the beach

Swimming With Turtles & Maasai Tour

After breakfast, the driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Nungwi turtle aquarium area, where you will get to experience a unique opportunity to swim with turtles You will then have lunch and after lunch go to for a Maasai Village/Museum tour to learn about the Maasai tribe and their culture Thereafter, we will take you back to your hotel

Rest Day/Beach Day

This is the day of relaxing and resting by your hotel private beach. Enjoy the turquoise Indian Ocean water by swimming in the ocean. You can also just relax on the beach or swimming pool while sipping your favorite drink or reading a book. Alternatively we can also arrange (with a surcharge) some ocean/water activities (such as jet ski, diving, fishing etc) for you.

Swimming in cave & Rock restaurant

After break fast our drive will come and pick you from the hotel and take you to swim at the famous Kuza cave, where you will get to enjoy the crystal clear healing mineral water pool. Our driver will later on take you to the beautiful world famous and one of its kind Rock Restaurant for lunch (at your own expense). After lunch we will take you back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Stone Town Tour and Transfer to Dar

After breakfast, our driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you for a brief stone town (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) tour. At Stone town, you will also have an option to buy souvenirs to take back home. Thereafter, our driver will take you for lunch ( at your own expense) At 2 pm, our driver will take you to the (boat) fast ferry for your departure to Dar Es Salaam. Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, our driver will pick you up from the ferry and take you to a hotel.

Goodbye/Kwaheri

Depending on you flight time, our driver will come (several hours in advance) and pick you up from your Dar Es Salaam hotel, and transfer you to Julius Nyerere International airport for your departure back to your home country.
